Compressed Air System – Air Audit
What is an air Audit?
An air audit is a method used to calculated the amount of air produced by you compressor and the demand of air required down your production line, as well as energy consumption and efficiency.
Compressed air audits are an effective way to identify your current energy use and to assess your compressed air needs, as well as carrying out an audit of your compressed air system.
How Does The Air Audit Work?
We connect our Air Audit data logger up to your compressor and run a test over a fixed period of time, with these results we can analyse Air Pressure, Air Demand, Power Consumption and Flow Rate.
With these results we are able to assist you in choosing the correct size compressor for your application. This Audit may also identify if you need to switch to a more efficient power saving machine, whether we need to relook at your current pipework and look for ways to upgrade your air network. We will also look for leaks in the systems and discuss ways to reduce leaks and save you money down the line.
What Do You Get From Our Air Audit?
We will provide you with detailed graphs and data showing you power consumption, air pressure, pressure drops, flow rates, costs of running and cost per unit of air. We will give you details of loading/unloading percentages. We will run through your pipe work and identify any leaks you may have or ways we can improve airflow to you manufacturing plant to improve efficiency and down time.
